Desmos, also known as the Otherworld, is a relatively small habitable planet connected to many others through a network of ancient portals. Desmos, along with the rest of its star system, was created by an ancient, advanced civilization known as the Primordials. Desmos possesses a unique and greatly reduced flow of time. The time experienced for a person on Desmos is 1/11th that of a person on earth, meaning that if someone spent one hour on Desmos, eleven hours will have elapsed for everyone else back on earth. Due to this time anomaly, many lifeforms and civilizations that settled Desmos in the past are still the same as they were thousands of years ago from an earth frame of reference.
